Bug Off Balm is specially formulated without essential oils, making it safe for children and those with sensitive skin. But what makes it effective? Terpenes! These naturally occurring compounds in plants and some animals produce characteristic scents that help protect against insects.
Bug Off Balm features beef tallow infused with lavender, peppermint, yarrow, catnip, lemongrass, and citronella—all herbs rich in terpenes. Additionally, 100% emu oil serves as the carrier oil, historically used by Aboriginal in Australia for its insect-repelling properties and its own terpene content.
Apply from head to toe.
Store in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight. Oil separation is normal at temperature above 90 degrees and does not indicate expiration.
